Journey on foot along one of Europe’s great pilgrimage routes, crossing from Switzerland into Italy on the ancient Via Francigena. This 15-day, all-inclusive*, fully guided walk takes you from the vineyards above Lake Geneva, through dramatic Alpine valleys, over the legendary Great St Bernard Pass, and down into the warmth and culture of northern Italy.
Walk quiet historic paths once used by pilgrims, traders and monks, with ever-changing scenery: shimmering lakes, mountain meadows, stone villages and vast Alpine panoramas. Evenings are spent enjoying regional cuisine, local wines and warm hospitality, with time to relax and savour the places you pass through. Travel in a small group, supported every step of the way, and experience the landscape, food and culture at a pace that allows you to truly connect.
